Contest :

The Bollywood Hunt Contest is organized by the company to search for fresh talent in various areas of film cast and crew. You are advised to carefully read the official rules & regulations contained below before participating in the Bollywood Hunt. By your registering to the contest it is deemed that you have agreed to all the rules and regulations, terms of use and disclaimer.

Eligibility Criteria :

All the applicants must have attained the age of 18 years on or before 1^st January 2013.

The candidate shall be eligible irrespective of what nationality he/she has.

It is deemed that the candidate registering for the contest is giving his consent to make him/herself available as per the requirements of the company in case he/ she makes it to the 10 finalists. These requirements cover all sort of national and international promotions be it still shoots, satellite promotions, print, digital, radio and so on as per company’s decisions. The company holds the exclusive rights to all these materials till perpetuity and the candidate forgoes all his powers and rights to question or restrict the company from its use in any and every manner.

It is deemed that the candidate registering for the contest is giving his consent to make him/herself available as per the requirements of the company in case he/ she makes it to the 2 finalists. These requirements cover all sort of national and international promotions be it still shoots, satellite promotions, print, digital, radio and so on as per company’s decisions. The company holds the exclusive rights to all these materials till perpetuity and the candidate has no authority over it irrevocably.

The winner of the contest shall get into a legal contract with the company before shooting the film.

In case the candidate is not an Indian National, then he/ she must possess a valid travel passport.  The company can issue a letter for permission of work visa post the selection of the candidate in the finalist, but the final decision shall be of the deciding authorities and the company can in way be held responsible in case of a rejection of the work visa.

The Bollywood Hunt is open to all individuals who are :

 1.        It is mandatory for all international participants to hold a valid passport until 30th June 2013 and all participants must be qualified to obtain a visa in their respective countries.

2.         The Bollywood Hunt is open to citizens of countries worldwide. Any person belonging to any nationality can register for the contest.

3.         Participants must be competent to enter into contracts and must not suffer from any disqualification or such other infirmity which may cause the contract to be void or voidable at the instance of the participant.

4.         Each Participant must represent that he/she has not been accused or convicted or is otherwise involved in any criminal offense and/or is not under inquiry or trial by the police or judiciary in his/her country of residence. Each Participant must further represent that he/she is not required to be present before any authority including police or any court of law for a term of 18 months from the date of application and is able to fully participate in the Talent Hunt or the Movie (if selected). Any persons who are under any contractual or other obligation that would prohibit them from participating fully in this Bollywood Hunt, or from allowing News 24 Mumbai Pvt. Ltd. to license the Entry, on an exclusive, worldwide, residual-free and royalty-free basis, in all media formats and uses in accordance with the terms below, are also ineligible to enter this Bollywood Hunt.

5.         Employees of News 24 Mumbai Pvt. Ltd. will not be qualified for participation in the Bollywood Hunt.

Bollywood Hunt Dates :

 1.        The Bollywood Hunt Free registrations commence on February 15th, 2013.  The contest is open to all as per the eligibility criterion as per above.

 2.        Final Results – In April 2013 -  The final results for various categories of the contest shall be made public.

Structure Of The Competition :

• ROUND 1: Registration of all interested candidates should be done by submitting an online registration form on the website. Registrations are free and no fee submissions are required for any contestant.

Aspiring Actors/Actresses / Singers  / Dancers shall be uploading 3 pics ( 1 full length, 1 Mid Shot and 1 Close up ) and 1 video / audio piece of their performance in MPEG 4 / MPEG 3 format not exceeding 20 MB per photo and 100 MB for Video / Audio file. This video / audio piece can be on original script / lyrics or on references picked up from any other source. All these uploads are possible from the browse option provided on the registration form.

• ROUND 2:

100 Candidates shall be selected out of each talent category.
